DREAL’s priorities in 2020: is your site compliant?

Dreal inspection

The Minister of Ecological Transition, Elizabeth Borne, has announced that by 2022, annual inspections of ICPE classified sites will increase by 50%.

Government unveils action plan to learn from the Lubrizol plant fire in Rouen.

Controls on facilities classified for environmental protection (ICPE) will therefore be strengthened and extended to the environment of these sites.

and SEVESO sites?

The action plan also provides that “high threshold” Seveso sites must carry out an annual exercise to implement their emergency plan in the event of a disaster. The other sites will remain on a fiscal year every 3 years.

On the other hand, the manufacturers will have to keep an updated file in which the list of products (nature and quantity) stored on the site is found.
