Issues

Chemicals present dangers for people, installations or the environment: acute intoxication, asphyxiation, fire, explosion, pollution… They can also cause more insidious effects, after years of exposure of the worker to low doses, or even several years after the end of exposure. These immediate and delayed hazards must be considered as part of the same chemical risk prevention approach.

  • Fire and explosion hazards
  • Hazardous chemical reactions

CHEMICAL RISK ASSESSMENT

The objective of the chemical risk assessment is to respond quickly and pragmatically to the regulations by :

  • Identifying all the chemicals used by workers
  • Collecting data on the health and safety risks associated with its products
  • Evaluating the risks to which each worker is exposed through an analysis of the operating conditions
  • Prioritizing the chemical risk

SOLVENT MANAGEMENT PLAN

The GSP is an annual mass balance of solvent flows within the company. It is one of the elements of a policy to control and reduce solvent consumption and emissions. From a regulatory point of view, its objective is to evaluate the total emissions (channeled and diffuse) in order to verify compliance with the emission limit values.

HAZARD STUDY (TN)

The danger study is a technical study which determines the risks of the activity of the establishment and which fixes the measures and the means of prevention against the risks of fire, explosion, panic and major industrial accidents.

ATEX

Novallia assists companies in determining ATEX zones. Within the framework of the prevention of the explosion risk, the determination of the ATEX risk zones is essential.
