In Tunisia: reminder of the obligation to declare an energy audit
The Agence Nationale pour la Maîtrise de l’Energie (ANME) has issued a press release concerning its 2004 decree. This stipulated that “Any establishment subject to an energy audit must submit annual data on its energy consumption to the Agence nationale pour la maîtrise de l’énergie ANME Tunisie, and must commission an expert auditor to carry out an energy audit every five years.”
What’s new with this Communiqué to June 25, 2024 from the Agence Nationale de Maitrise de l’Energie,
This is a reminder that “in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Decree 2004-2144, this obligation to declare and submit the energy audit, with the implementation of an application deadline: companies have 60 days to comply with this requirement or face financial penalties ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 Tunisian dinars”.
